Before Miss K was due, I had a few scrapbooking projects that I wanted to complete. One of them was from my now husband and I’s very first holiday together to Japan … back in 2010!
Back then I was still new to scrapbooking and had no idea where to start. I was initially overwhelmed by all of the photo’s that we took that needed sorting and editing. When I finally got around to printing them out online they were all out of order when I received them! For a long time I had all of my printed photos placed in a box and pulled them out every now and then to sort.
Months and eventually years passed by before I discovered Project Life and I started to have an idea of how I’d scrapbook our holiday. I bought a Pink Leather 12X12 Album, Project Life Page Projectors and various Project Life themed cards, and slowly put everything together. Finally, a few months before Miss K was born I finalised our album! It’s not perfect but it’s done and I love flipping through the photo’s and taking a trip down memory lane.
The moral of this sad scrapbooking tale is that no matter how long ago a holiday or event was, it’s never too late to scrapbook it!
